Hour XIV

1 Hour sculpt 15 min paint. The Judge Dredd Helmet. Couldn't figure out how to easily get the metal bars to be angled, beveled, and straight at the same time.

10 - Next Generation Phazer

Next Generation Phazer

Finding that Planar Brush, Insert Cube, Transpose, and lots of Clipping and masks seem to help the hard surface stuff.

Also, turn off perspective. It helps.

Hour XIII

Star Trek:The First Generation phaser. 2.5 Hour Sculpt. Need to learn me some new brushes.

Post 3 but Hour 9

better then never, a little late too but here is my "interpretation" of Jane Jetson. Had some issues with the poly resolution going down low in some sections for some reason but I hope that it reads as Jane Jetson..

Hour 10!

:\ had some problems with the divide tool? it was super jaggedy when i divided and moved the polys.  i think this woulda been super simple if i did it on maya, hard in zbrush

Hour XI

Boba Fett's Blaster Rifle. Didn't get to a lot of the details. I think I might put a double hour of power for the next gun. Not yet comfortable making specific hard shapes.

Star Wars rifle was difficult...

Hour 9 - Star Wars Gun

Di-44

Feeling like I'm starting to lean Zbrush all over again, hard surfaces are not easy.

The Future Begins!

I am thinking that since we all got scrambled during finals week we'll skip the past two days and keep going with the new theme for this week: The Future! This week begins on Tuesday and starts with:

1. Mech Arm (Warhammer 40k)
2. Any gun from Star Wars
3. Full Character from the Jetsons
4. Star Trek Phaser (any generation)
5. Prop from Judge Dredd
6. Ghost of Christmas Future
7. Female bust of any female from The Fifth Element

Since we didn't all meet up for this one, anyone participating can suggest changes until the end of Tuesday and I'll update this post accordingly.
